INSTALLATION OR HOSTING?
* An installation wizard makes it easy for you to install your Visichat. Step by step instructions also make it easy and clear to install. FREE installation service included.
 
  * No server? If you do not run a dedicated server there are reasonably priced hosted packages.
 
  * Visichat can serve a private members community, an open guest chat or both. Then of course there is live Customer Support mode.
 
  * The Guest option can be turned off from either the clear, simple admin menu or the Visichat red5 server config file.ROOM AND USER FEATURES
 
* Your Rooms list is created from the simple, clear admin menu. As admin you can set the name of each room, the max.
  number of users in each room, and the type of room.
 
  * Public rooms are accessible to all users.
 
  * Private rooms are accessible only to selected users, as selected by admin. A Private room can be visible to all on the Rooms list, or admin can set it to be visible only to users who can access it.
 
* Live Support rooms are accessible by moderators who deal with each site visitor individually.
 
* Each user has three options: to upload a personal picture, select an avatar from the ones provided, or choose to have no picture. This can all be disabled by the admin. or admin can add their preferred avatars to the avatar folder.
 
  * If a user uploads a picture or selects an avatar from the list provided, it displays in the room's users' list. The default list displays neat little mini avatar pictures, to allow larger numbers of users to appear on the list. But a user can hover another user's name to see their full size avatar picture, or select for all users to appear with their full sized avatar. This creates a much more personal feeling when chatting especially for users without web cam.
 
  * Each Room displays X lines of chat to new arrivals so a user can quickly understand what has been going on around the time they arrive.
  This helps new arrivals to feel 'at home' and quickly grasp the current situation.
 
* Reconnecting after your ISP or your computer has a glitch is smoothly handled for you. No more frustrating attempts to get back in!
  The chat room reconnects you automatically, often without you even noticing! Reconnection is set so there is no conflict between a manual attempt to login again and the software timeout.
 
  * Admin can enable/ disable private or public voice, private or public video, and Hands free (speaker voice) options.
 
  * Private message chat is fully featured just like the main chat. Private chat opens in a comfortably sized window, with the capacity for multiple private windows at one time.
 
  * Users can block other members from opening private chat with them (but users cannot block moderators).
 
  * You can view how many users are in each room. When a user enters a room, the Room list updates instantly and so does the room number indicator.
 
  * Chat can be transcripted, choosing the period of time to transcript text. Transcript also acts as a freeze function to check back in a busy chat for missed items.
 
  * Chat text is parsed to support clickable URLs to open a separate browser window.
 
  * Emoticon smilies are always popular for users to enliven their chat with each other. With the flash source code you can create your own smilies, or add new ones.
 
  * Users can choose a font colour they like on the fly instantly during the chat, as well as Bold, Italic and Underline.
 
  * Users can show they are male/ female/a couple, and give a date of birth in their personal window where they select an avatar or upload a picture.
 
  * The admin menus are particularly clear and comfortable to use in your Visichat.
 
  * Admin can set a default room to auto enter on arrival.
 
  * Admin can make selected users into moderators.
 
  * Moderators can kick, and if necessary ban other members. Moderators cannot kick moderators.
 
  * The user list shows a table, with user name, user/ moderator status, IP address, user picture status, email address, ban status, online/ offline status, and Edit/ Delete controls.
 
  * The user list is paginated and searchable.
 
  * Admin can set users to receive a prompt to edit their profile when they login.
 
  * Admin can ban a user by user name or IP address from admin menu.

  * If you order Visichat's flash source code it's easy to create a new chat layout. You can create your own preferred layout theme and add it to your Visichat. You can change the chat background, styles and colors.
 
  * The whole chat window can be full screen, or compactly sized for embedding on your webpage.
 
  * You can change the position of each item in the chat in your layout including: room list, user list, history, public messages, the setting panel, login, registration etc.  You can make the user list wider or narrower, so you can make users appear in your preferred number of columns.

  * The flash source code includes all of the flash codes generated with Flash 8 Professional, and its classes.

  MEMBERSHIP/ DATABASE
 
  * You can choose to use a MySQL or MS SQL server database during your install of Visichat.
 
  *  Custom integration with an existing mysql or ms sql database is available on request e.g. VBulletin forums.
 
  * Visichat red5 server can connect to your database to authenticate users to make sure only registered members can login. External users from outside cannot access without correct username and password.
 
  * You can set the bandwidth of the visichat red5 server by changing values in the visicht2.xml config file which is accessible via the visichat red5 server.  

CUSTOM FEATURES OR DESIGN
 
  Please ask for tweaks or features you would like. We are very interested in improving Visichat for you. Sometimes we can add small features free if we feel they add to the chat for everyone's benefit. Alternatively we will quote you a set price at a very reasonable cost.

Installation notes and installer script included in the package, however if you still need help, we can install Visichat directly onto your server for free, If you purchase visichat with flash source codes.
Installation includes: installing red5 server, Visichat installation and Visichat configuration.

Please note that you will need a dedicated server (linux or windows) in order to be able to run visichat onto your server and free installation is included only if you purchase visichat with flash source codes.
